Therapeutic & Recreational Riding Center, Inc.

Dr. Helen Tuel and her husband founded the Therapeutic Recreational Riding Center in 1983 with a borrowed pony. Today, the center in Glenwood, Maryland, provides riding services to children and adults with a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. Horseback riding increases strength and balance, builds confidence, and improves quality of life.
